8) walkthrough path control?? when can we do it graphically right on the model window and not on the edite window from view parameters... like you move deform and edit the camera path wich is a spline that can be modified, it could even shows indications of speed and lense angle on the path itself as the cursor moves on on it??
9)Something else that I think would be very useful for managing objects, Layers, Lights, Views, Etc, would be to be able to either open up multiple copies of any pallete or be able and plit any pallate into two panes. That way, you could either scroll through one pallete and drag and drop to the other copy to reorganize your objects/layers. Likewise, if you could split a pallete into two panes, you could drag and drop from one pane to the other to reorganize.
10)Another suggestion would be to be able to re-organize palletes by a few options, Layer/Object name alphabetically, On/Off, Locked, or custom. Custom would be your customized assortment (the way the pallates work now with drag and drop.
11)This may have been mentioned before, but I would love the ability to apply the hand tool to pressing down the middle button of my mouse (or any key for that metter) where the hand tool activates when pressing and holding the button down and deactivastes upon releasing the button.
12) Looking through a light. This tool would create a view looking in the same direction from the same viewpoint as a selected light. Editing this view would then update the direction of the light itself.
13) A light in the observer's eye..... could combining views and lights conserve the system?... I've always wondered if combining surface styles and lights might save system effort, reduce reflection tracing, (speed rendering). Accurate shadows seem a luxury beyond eclectic desire... Therefore some kind of smart blurring between colors and angles alone would seem much more efficient in presenting real geometric definition, our truest desire. Accurate lighting is boring-physics. Ambiance sells best of all and wows the client. Can we talk about sales appeal and ambient blurs?
14) I know it's klunky, but ... --copy --new project window -- paste --(do your geometry) --select all --back to first window --paste over (replace original objects)......That adds up to six steps or six short cut strokes on keyboard. Theoretically we save only five or four key user- key -strokes, depending on how this new tool might work, (how many key strokes it needs). I expect the machine runs much better when large models are totally separated like this. The separated model runs much faster, especially if display-resolution becomes difficult.
